1. Acceptance
By registering and using AVLUMINARY ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
AVLUMINARY is a professional platform exclusively for individuals actively working in the Audio-Visual (AV) industry — including engineers, systems integrators, consultants, project managers, manufacturer representatives, distributors, and installers. We reserve the right to verify your professional status and decline or revoke access accordingly.
3. Account Approval
All new accounts are subject to manual review and approval by the AVLUMINARY team. We reserve the right to approve or reject any registration at our sole discretion. You will be notified by email regarding your account status within 24–48 business hours.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform solely for legitimate professional purposes. You may not: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose; (b) share your account credentials with third parties; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform; (d) upload harmful or malicious content.
5. Data Collection & Commercial Analysis
By registering, you consent to AVLUMINARY collecting and using your professional profile information — including name, company, job title, country, and industry segment — for the following purposes:
- Platform improvement and feature development
- Aggregated industry analytics and market research
- Commercial reporting to manufacturers and distributors (aggregated, non-personally identifiable)
- Sending platform updates, product announcements, and industry news relevant to your role

6. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, tools, software, and design are the intellectual property of AVLUMINARY. Project calculations and designs created by you remain your intellectual property. You grant AVLUMINARY a non-exclusive licence to store and process your project data solely to provide the service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is." AVLUMINARY makes no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Engineering calculations are provided as a tool to assist professionals and must be independently verified before use in real-world installations.
8. Limitation of Liability
AVLUMINARY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to errors in calculations or reliance on platform-generated data.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
10. Modifications
AVLUMINARY reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.
